It’s simple. It’s sincere. Helping each other and keeping our communities strong is what the Co-op is all about. From the way we purchase products to the way we keep money in the area, the Co-op acts on your behalf and in your community’s best interest. That’s because Co-ops are based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, and solidarity. Co-op members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility, and caring for others.<\/p>\n

Our values define us as a co-operative and have a direct impact on how we conduct our day-to-day business:<\/p>\n

  • Self-help<\/strong> – Believing we have control of our destiny.<\/li>\n
  • Self-responsibility<\/strong> – Taking responsibility for our actions.<\/li>\n
  • Democracy<\/strong> – Members have a say in the way we run our business.<\/li>\n

  • Equity<\/strong> – Business is carried out in a way that is fair and unbiased.<\/li>\n
