In June of 2022 our store was recognized, and received an age-friendly business status.
The Random Age Friendly Communities Group in partnership with the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development developed a recognition piolet program to assist business in better serving customers, specifically the elderly. Our store was assessed based on 57 international criteria and exceeded what was required to receive the recognition.
We are honored to not only be awarded with this designation, but to also be the first retail store in Newfoundland & Labrador to receive it. We are proud of all of our accomplishments over the years, and have worked hard to grow and improve or store to offer the best possible service and shopping experience to all of our members/customers.
